about

The story goes that Boris had a moment when we was confronted with a medical fact that would alter the course of his life forever. It turned out that it was false alarm, but the lyrics had already been written, and the constricting atmosphere of this song is a perfect capture of twentysomething angst.

lyrics

Alles was jetzt passiert liegt in meinen Händen
Apocalypse now!
Alles was jetzt passiert liegt alleine in meinen Händen
Alles was jetzt passiert wird die Welt maßgeblich verändern
Alles was jetzt passiert liegt alleine in meinen Händen
Hold on my friend and sing out
before your bombs fall down on me
Hold on my friend and sing out
before your bombs fall down on me
Hold on and keep things going
On and on and on and on and on...
Before it's too late!

Somehow having stumbled upon sort of a parallel dimension (for lack of a better term), they set out like a travelling circus to show it to the world, and the few who cared to look saw it, too, and they remember to this day. ... more
